Swiftray is a fully-powered open source, layer control software for diode laser cutter/engraver. It allows you to import files including JPG / PNG / SVG / DXF / AI and PDF.

About Hardware

1. How is diode laser different from CO2 lasers?

The diode laser head is light and can be directly installed on the axis without adjusting the optical path, and unlike CO2 lasers, it does not transmit energy through mirrors and has no bulky water cooling systems or laser tubes.

2. Does Lazervida need to change the cooling water regularly?

The laser head has a built-in cooling fan, so no additional water cooling system is required.

3. Is there any upgrade kit for Lazervida?

Lazervida comes with multiple accessories including the stands, cone spacers, rotary add-on, air assist add-on.

4. How long is the service life of Lazervida’s laser head?

Under normal usage, the laser head has a lifespan of 10,000 hours.
